Notes, timers, and the upcoming slide

The speaker view is your control panel while presenting. It shows your speaker notes, a preview of the upcoming slide, the elapsed time, the current time, and more. Use it alongside the present view, which is what your audience sees.

Open the speaker view from the link in the present view, or add /speaker to the end of your deck URL: slides.com/<username>/<deck-name>/speaker.

Speaker view with current slide, next slide, notes, and timer

The current and upcoming slide previews stay in sync as you navigate the presentation. This syncing also works across devices, so you can, for example, keep the speaker view open on one computer while showing the presentation to your audience from another.

Live presenting

When you use the speaker view during a live presentation, an indicator in the bottom-right corner shows how many people are watching.

Remote control

When opened on a phone, the speaker view doubles as a remote control.

Speaker layouts

If you rely heavily on speaker notes, switch to a speaker view layout that gives your notes more space.
