Partner trial: Why?


When a potential customer finds us via a partner's website, they want to try Emma to see if it meets their needs. Having to wait until a salesperson contacts them to try an account is a major barrier to entry. This project is designed to give potential customers coming from partners an easy and secure way to start a trial account before they talk to sales.

  • ECP-50 - Create a unique link for potential customer/confirmation email. 
  • ECP-56 - Create trial page inside of application
  • ECP-49 - Create confirmation endpoint
  • ECP-45 - Trial form populates Marketo correctly
  • ECP-108 - Create a test form for initial trial inquiry
  • ECP-51 - Track IP addresses of potential customers creating trial accounts 
  • ECP-52 - Compare IP addresses of potential customers to current trials

Imports: why?

Our current import experience for customers just isn't very good. We want to overhaul it to allow for fewer screens and clicks, and to give folks options to save workflows and field mappings for future use. This will lead into work that allows folks to authenticate with third party software to import lists and that allows for scheduling imports.
