What is Shopify?

• One of most popular and powerful ecommerce platforms
• Small companies and large brands alike rely on it
• Provides brand presence: CMS, Blogs,  and eCommerce in one easy to use offering
• Very developer friendly, having experience customizing is a great skill to have for any developer.
• Has an open Marketplace of applications (>1000) that extend core platform capabilities. ( social, shipping, accounting, etc)
• Shopify Apps can be free or charge monthly subscriptions

Our Project

 Create an easy to use Shopify App that allows a store owner to create simple rules (based on data stored in shopify) to add different content items to a product detail pages.

• Prevent duplication of entry
• Make store maintainable, consistent and professional looking.  

We typically use Angular & NodeJS but open to other contemporary approaches

Conclusion

In the course of building the application, you'll learn a lot about Shopify platform and learn how to design focused applications that have a recurring revenue model.

Proficiency customizing a major e-commerce solution will enable you take on new/additional/interesting opportunities.  The earlier you conquer eCommerce; the better.
