- The most complicated attack mode
- Too many rules, some seems not that useful
- Slower than using pre-built dictionary
Hashcat performance option
$ hashcat -w <NUM>
hashcat -w option test
(higher the better)
-w option
- higher the better
- cpu usage is nearly the same
- not sure about power comsuption
Ramdisk
- faster initialization time
- no difference in hashing performance
