From an activist perspective

Barcelona City Hall plans from now till 2024 to:
Reduce cars from 26% β 18% (-25%)
Increase bike usage from 2% β 5% (+128%)
Β
But we have no clue on how is it going.
What's the best way to track these changes?
We want to prosecute government actions through data.
We also have no clue if Covid has increased bike usage.
But also, do we need streets focused on mobility at all?
Can we provide sustainable deliveries?
Scheduled operation times?Β
Congestion or pollution taxes, reducing car lanes, reducing
public parking space, increasing car registration taxes, etc.
Is it just safe infrastructure?
Or there are other strategies?
And between journeys that have real sustainable
transportation alternatives and one that it doesn't?
Is it a supply problem?
What about the status prejudices?
