The IGL Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to bring people together to learn, compete and play.
We leverage the popularity of the video game industry by hosting tournaments & fundraising events. These allow us the ability to provide a low cost exciting Digital Arts curriculum that revolves around the core learning programs included in STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
Over the years we have hosted dozens of STEM programs and gaming events at local New Orleans schools. These events showcase educational seminars, local businesses, animation and video workshops, gaming tournaments and much more. The goal is to be both fun and educational, while at the same time better preparing students to be a part of today’s technology-driven workforce economy.

Our Digital Arts Training program is divided into 4 clubs that students can choose where they have the most interest in.
By working with local businesses, we are able to gauge the specific skill set needed by each individual business as it relates to our program, then train students based on requirements putting them in the best position to become a new prospect.
Local businesses can benefit by working with our students on many levels. The students provide a fresh, knowledgeable, and innovative skill set with a technological and artistically focused mind. Projects can range from different forms of Digital Marketing (Web Design & Maintenance, Flyers & Digital Ads, Commercials and Video Productions, Live Broadcasts or Podcasts, Data Collection and Product Development).
High School Students can plan to get their first time job experiences by working on real business projects throughout the semester. Students will get the chance to put their best foot forward and showcase to potential employers the different skills they have developed as well as provide an opportunity to express personal motivation and drive.
At the end of the school year, students can potentially win scholarships and/or internships for the work accomplished within the IGL program.
Internships allow the students to work with our partnering businesses throughout the summer months. Providing them the opportunity to gain valuable real-world work experience, develop relationships, and utilize their skills.

IGL youth program doesn't just bring in everything Video Gaming related, we also offer training in various forms of Digital Media & Arts software that include: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Affects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Audition, FL Studios, Unreal Develop Engine,OBS (Open Broadcaster Software), Blender and Game Salad. We plan on providing a test in and out model for software base training, allowing us to add certifications in CTE as well as partnering college certifications. We also will be providing our job training program which we will work with companies specific to the fields of training that the students are working in.
We believe by adding a job training element to our structure in all fields for interested high school students, we will have a greater impact on them planning their future as well as an understanding of what is required to succeed.
Additionally, working with students after school these past years we observed that the majority of students preferred to be present onsite during program hours. Outside of program hours, our teachers spent a good bit of time working with students on general tutoring for all computer needs. We feel by now adding simple computer training on basic functionality and most-used software (e.g. Word, Microsoft Office, Excel, etc) would be very beneficial for the students as well.
Workshops Mini Camps & After School Programs
After school programs: Weekly classes of digital arts training.
Mini Camps: These programs are normally anywhere from 2 to 5 days long at a time. These normally happen Thanks giving break, Christmas Break, Spring Break and Mardi Gras Break.
We provide events for gamers of all ages to compete as well as a safe space where they can learn more about the gaming industry. We provide all equipment needed to engage in Digital Arts Training as well as gaming, broadcasting and staffing needs for tournament hosting, advertising and co-ordinations.
During these live events, of various sizes and scope, we are able to link local gaming communities to industry professionals with panels, keynotes, and both online and live gaming competitions.
Through these events we also help foundations raise funding for their programs. In hosting an event, organizations are able to sell concessions, vendor space and sponsorships. One of the major sources of fundraising we plan to provide is video broadcasting via live stream and public broadcast. All forms of broadcast allow for opportunities to showcase various ads and commercial content throughout our presentations.
IGL Youth Gaming Night is designed to let students engaged in multiple forms of video gaming and friendly competition. Students review games, practice skill sets and interact with like minded local competitors. For students with limited funds or equipment, this is a great opportunity to try out the newest games as well as experience new forms of video gaming.
We plan to provide all gaming equipment and video games with our youth gaming clubs. We would like to host twice a month on Fridays after school. Multiple gaming systems will be staged in participating venues to create Mini Gaming Centers.

Our Online Plattform
Everything within our program is all done on eezers.com. This is the source for all day-to-day activities, events, workshops, online classes, teacher support and more. We broadcast an online stream for training & gaming which is accessible through EETV. We produce follow up videos for each class which can also be found on EETV.
All live software training will utilize Adobe Connect as a way to focus on weekly subjects and tasks within our curriculum. Students within the program that might not be able to attend onsite will still be able to utilize online training.
NORD custom website
NORD will receive a custom website that we will build out on our network. The site is used to organize leagues and tournaments, promote, share content, stream events live, share social networks, collect data for all players and develop player rankings.
Students within the program will be taught how to maintain the site and create and add content. Admin privileges will be provided to a NORD staff advisor who can add players to the NORD data base, provide access or ban players, and more.
NORD Fundraising Events
In hosting different gaming tournaments NORD will be able to tap into many forms of advertising. One of the main sources of advertising is ads, sponsors and commercials. We have the ability to stream all events. Gaming events such as these can generate much traffic online. Based on viewership, NORD will be able to sell add space as well as collect online donations throughout each broadcast.
Free weekend tournaments such as these have the ability to bring many people to a venue for up to 3 hours or more. Food is a great source of fundraising throughout the event. This can be done in house or by vendors, whichever works best for the facility. Also, vendor tables are a great way to interact with attendees. Companies that develop or sell video games are always looking for people to test their games, and have the potential to become a great repeat vendor.
