WTF is cycle time?
Cycle time is a measure of the elapsed time when work starts on an item until it’s ready for delivery: how long it takes to complete a task.
And what about Lead Time?
Time elapsed between the identification of a requirement and its fulfillment (it was introduced by Toyota, Lean manufacturing).
Some teams use Lead/Cycle time as the same concept.
Average cycle time?
Avg. cycle time =
(Sum cycle time / No. tickets)

It works well with Scrum!
Scrum teams can benefit from optimized Cycle times!
Compare Average Cycle time of different sprints: did we do worse than previous sprints? Why?
Can be easily combined with Number of tickets.
It works well with Experimentation!
Cycle time:
T_Learn - T_Build
The shorter the cycle time, the faster you can learn!
