Independent Test Cases
- Each test logs into its own session
- Checks specific functionality only
- Run tests in parallel (versus one long test run)
- Clearly identify issues (versus one test checking many things)
- Fail fast; Easier to reproduce manually
Dealing with "State"
- Test suite needs to create and manipulate data in an on-going way
- Introduces challenges, but sometimes required
- Long tests or sequential (dependent) test runs
- Decreases speed + reproducibility; More fragile
