LOCATION
As we're planning on producing some sort of 'show' themed opening sequence we thought it was fitting to first look at a hall. The main hall at our school has a nice stage with spotlights, so we began incorporating these elements in order to try and create a possible shot in our opening sequence.
We also experimented with possible camera angles that we may use in our opening sequence. The first shows a extreme close-up this is to establish emotion, as the viewer can see the actors emotions very clearly. The second is a long shot this is to convey intimidation, as the actor appears small and inferior.
This is an example of a shot we may use in our opening sequence, the shot begins focused on the actor and is a close-up and it zooms out to an extreme long shot, this is reinforcing the idea of how small the actor is in perspective to the situation and their surroundings.
