Band Identity Feedback

This graph from our band identity feedback survey shows that audiences listen to music because they like the genre. This showed us that it would be a good idea to follow genre conventions in our music video and our ancillary products in order to appeal to our primary target audience.

Over 60% of our respondents said that they appreciate it when an artist shares the same political beliefs as them. This is why we have chosen for Casey Tyler to be politically active and left-wing.

One of the most important factors when portraying genre and aesthetic is the colour scheme. Our audience said that they associate indie-pop bands with bright pastel colours, so we chose to use these in our band's aesthetic and branding to convey a strong sense of genre and band identity.
