Film4
Film4 is a London based film distribution company. They are well known for distributing British independent films.
They distribute many genres of films, so our film would fit their roster well.
Similar to the film Suffragette, Film4 could potentially sell off the distribution rights internationally. This would in turn allow the film to have a wider exhibition.

Attack The Block is a British independent film that was distributed by Film4. In May 2011, the opening weekend, the film finished third behind major American blockbusters, Thor and Fast Five. Despite its independent status, Attack The Block had the highest cinema site average on its opening weekend. The film also did well critically, winning the LA Film Fest Audience Award and the SXSW Audience Award.
We want our film to have a similar exhibition and do well commercially and critically.

Due to its low budget and the target audience of the film, Attack The Block used a lot of online marketing during its campaign and through social media, used a lot of viral marketing to quickly spread information about the film and to create a buzz. Most forms of digital marketing like social media and YouTube are free meaning costs can be saved here and that the core target audience for our film can be reached easily.
Similarly, we would use online marketing as it is cheap and allows for our audience to be reached directly as our core target audience are consumers of social media, we wouldn't use much physical marketing.
