AVOID USING CONTACT LENSES ALL DAY LONG:
If you are using contact lenses take them out when you are swimming or at the time of sleep. Continuous use of colored contacts may damage your vision permanently. Our eyes need the continuous consumption of oxygen and contact lens block it during our sleep. So, all the optician recommends not to use contact lens while we are sleeping.
USE UV PROTECTIVE SUNGLASSES:
When you are outside of your home and sun is shining, use UV protective sunglasses which can block 99% UV rays. UV rays can harm to your eyes and as a result cataracts, pterygium and many other diseases can be occurred. For this, you may lose your eyesight forever. Also, when you are working with chemicals or any harmful elements, make sure that you are wearing goggles. Because while working, your eyes can be hit by large or small objects and goggles will protect your eyes from those harmful objects.
FOLLOW THE 20-20-20 RULES:
While you are working on a computer or laptop follow this rule. The rule is, after working on a computer or laptop for 20 minutes continuously, have a look at something which is 20 feet away from you for 20 seconds. If you forget this to do put an alarm on your mobile phone to take the break. Also, do not spend so much time in front of your computer screen and make sure that, the computer screen is levelled with your eyes.
EAT FOOD WHICH CONTAINS VITAMIN:
Usually many of us like to eat fast food and ignore foods which contains lots of vitamins. Vitamin A, C, E, and Zinc are very much essential for our eyes. We can get these vitamins from nuts, pork, various kinds of fish, oranges, broccoli, wheat germs and vegetables. These foods not only help you to maintain your eye vision at a perfect level, but also improve your health’s too.
REMOVE YOUR EYE MAKE UP:
If you are using eye makeup like mascara or eyeliner, remove these at the end of the day because it can create irritation to your eyes. Do not keep your eye makeup at the time of sleeping also.
