The free movement of people is a fundamental right guaranteed to all European union citizens by the treaties.

It is understood that all EU citizens should have freedom security and justice without internal boarders

Origin

The idea of the free movement act came about with the signing of the Schengen Agreement in 1985 and the Schengen Convention in 1990. This started the elimination of border controls between joining countries. As it is now part of the EU legal and institutional framework, Schengen cooperation has gradually been extended to include most of the EU member states as well  as some non-EU countries.

Cost of the EU

The UK put in £8.9 billion per year, at get back £5.9 billion per year.  The money that doesn't get put back into the UK,  goes to other member in the EU that are struggling financially.

Their is an opinion that these countries that receive money from the EU but don't have a high enough level of tax

Trade

The trade advantage of being in the EU are imaginary due to recent studies.
It shows the UK is exporting more to other leading countries outside of the UK

Climate Action

The EU government spends over 1billion for clean energy projects, to reduce the amount of CO2 emissions from Europe
