Step 1: Write two stories 1. Write about the most rewarding tutoring experience thus far.
2. Write about the most challenging tutoring experience. What happened? Describe in detail.
Storyteller: Shares both stories Interviewer: After completion of both stories, interviewer prompts for details, definitions of key words, or elaborations on points of confusion & curiosity. Notetaker: Takes notes whilst storyteller shares and answers questions. Notes should focus on patterns within and across stories as well as evocative imagery and language.
After the interview, the notetaker and the interviewer reflect back to the storyteller his or her specific patterns of talents, skills, capacities, and potential barriers.
