Productivity. How important is it?

  • We talk about programming languages a lot, but productivity features and UI are often ignored.
  • As a result we have to use ancient software (OSU Sun environment)
  • Or we're locked in a custom environment (Visual Studio, Eclipse EE)

Why?

Compare the two

We are making people more productive through smart software solutions that help them focus more on what they really want to accomplish.

... projects are focused on building an open development platform comprised of extensible frameworks, tools and runtimes for building, deploying and managing software across the lifecycle.
