How did you attract/address your target audience

Character selection

•One way we was able to attract am audience is by having a female character play a stereotypical male role this attracts more people to the film because then you will get more female audience because they would be interested in how the character is played this links with them stereo typically being the active audience in crime thrillers in addition they would want to see if they relate to the character themselves.

In addition to the female character the lead male role is a black person this challenges normal conventions of a crime thriller of a mob type genre as you would expect two white men instead of a black male and white female this then gets more of a black audience and had the same Effect on audience that they want to see if they relate and how they are portrayed

Music

•In addition we have used synergy by having someone making a instrumental for us this then gets people more aware of his beats from our film and gets our film more customers because they might watch to watch our film because they heard that Alan Sanchez music is on it

Arctic monkeys attracts an audience because fans of the arctic monkeys would be interested in watching the film because perhaps their favourite music is on there. However this is not synergy because the song was not made specifically made for the film however our film still needs permission for us to play their music so for example a film like batman would be unlikely to use the song 'Do i wanna know' in addition people who like the type of music such as arctic monkeys would be interested to watch the film because they would be interested to watch the film for that type of music

Action

In the opening sequence there is action from the start as the male character shoots the hostage this suggests to the audience that there maybe a lot of action happening in the whole film it engages the audience because they get to see action from the start which makes it exciting and interesting for them.

Similarities

Because of film is inspired by Quentin Tarentino’s Pulp fiction is has a lot of similarities to it this then engages the audience of people who enjoy watching Quentin Tarentino like films

•One way we was able to attract an audience was posting posters of the film on Facebook and Instagram this was used because a majority of the population uses these social apps the average age range that uses these social apps are around their twenties which is our intended target audience
