Research
Prezi- I have used prezi in order to present my research on the music videos. I wanted to split up the different music videos and make it more exciting it look at. I was familiar with Prezi as I have also used it last year for my coursework. I found it helpful as it allowed me to have a different theme rather than going with a basic type up theme.
Slides- Slides is a presentation webpage I have used to present my research. I have used it previously so I had no problems using it. I found it useful as it allowed my research to look more appealing and not plain.
Canva- This is yet another presentation webpage I have used in order to present my work. I didn't have any problems with it as I have used it last year for my coursework. It was useful due to me being able to present my work more interestingly.
Gomoodboard.com- I have used this website in order to present all my ideas together for my audience. I had no problems using this as I have used it previously. It was useful as I was able to explain every picture I have used on my moodboard.
Emaze- Emaze is a presentation website I have used previously in my AS work therefore it was easy for me to use. It was useful due to me being able to change the colours of the presentation and split up my information how I wanted it instead of putting it all one one page.
Youtube- I have used youtube to research music videos in order to look at conventions of real media texts. This has helped to to see the music videos already available and it let me take a view ideas with what I could include in my music video. I have used youtube previously therefore it was easy for me to navigate through it.
Planning
Emaze- I have used Emaze again in my planning to present my work easier to read.
Survey Monkey- I have used survey monkey in order to collect responses from my target audience on what they would like to see in my music video. I have previously used it before for my AS coursework so I had no problems using it as I didn't need to learn anything new. I found it useful as it was the easiest way of getting my audiences opinion as most of the stuff is now done electronically.
Blogger- I have use blogger to post all my work on as well as a presentation website where I posted my work instead of using other pages to make a powerpoint. I had no problems with using it as I have used it previously nor any help from my teachers.
Canva- I have used canva again in my planning in order to make my work look more professional.
Slides- I have used slides again in my planning as a presentation technique in order to present my work so its easy to understand.
Construction
Imovie- I have never previously used Imovie therefore before using it I have watched youtube tutorials on how to use it. Also at the beggining I have struggled while making my music video hence why I have googled how to work it. Imovie was useful for me as it allowed to put together a video with all the clips I have taken on my camera as well as add sound to it at the same time.
Photoshop- I have used photoshop to create my digipak as well as my magazine advertisement. I have previously used photoshop for my AS coursework therefore I knew how to use it and did not require any help.
