Tangents
Straight or curved lines are tangent to a circle or arc when the
line touches the circle or arc at only one point.

A line tangent to a circle. The point of tangency is found by constructing a line from the center of the circle 90° to the tangent line.
A line tangent to an arc. The point of tangency is found by constructing a line from the center of the arc 90° to thetangent line.
Tangents
