This project will automate welder qualifications so that they can be updated on-the-job without off-line testing. Allowing them to stay on the job while weld certification processes are conducted in-line with the work performed as opposed to non-value added products for certification only.

This project aims to improve the process associated with Class I Pipe Weld Tracking by using the Digital Twin to identify, label, and track ship critical pipe welds that exist within the design model. To provide means to identify pipe weld requirements, numbering and tracking within production that are aligned with Navy documentation in an automated fashion.
Reduce / Remove cost associated with creating the annotated pipe drawings detailing the locations and weld identifiers
Automate the creation of P-1 Joint tracking cards out of the Digital Twin
Automate the creation of detailed weld location / type information on spool drawings
