課程規則

Not really all rules

In Class

  • You're here to LEARN!

English

I like to use English in my slides, because many technical terms often doesn't have a (appropriate) Chinese equivalent.

So using English we could all know what precisely the term means.

If you don't know what a word mean, don't hesitate to ask!

End Goal

It's not just about learning all these things from me, it's more about "learning how to learn", so you could all go on without me.

To help you "learn how to learn", I try to

- Use English in my slides, so you know the precise meaning and correct way of use of these terms

- Always offer references, so you could find good informations

- Expose my learning process, so perhaps you could mimic

If you feel you really got something,

Consider:

  • Write a note, blog post, and share it.
So that everyone on the Internet can benefit.
And you will also have a better understanding.
  • Share my presentations, my recordings.
I'd also like to see people benefit from me.

If you really don't get something,

Ask!! on the mailing list or any other method that could reach me. I'd be glad to answer and to discuss questions.

Problem asking essentials

How to get people like to answer your question

- Be polite when you ask

- Be clear on your problem

- Understand that no one ought to answer you

- "Is anyone here?" <-- Don't do this, just ASK the problem!

- 正確的文法、不要錯字

Feedback

I love them! so please, don't hesitate

to give me your feedback!

(just post them to the mailing list, or just tell me personally)
