From my study into Meghan Trainor's promotions, I learnt about the importance of staying consistent throughout the marketing campaign. The three of her singles have a similar bubblegum pop, doo wop sound and the three music videos have a theme running across them. The music videos are bright and colourful, using bubblegum pop genre conventions.  The music videos for the first and third singles "All About That Bass" and "Dear Future Husband" were directed by Fatima Robinson. On 18th August, 2014, Meghan Trainor announced that the music video for her newest single was to be released. This meant that the audience who became fans because of Meghan Trainor's breakthrough single "All About That Bass" could look forward to the newest single and this proved to be a good strategy because the video gained 2.2 million views only 2 days after its release.
