How we improved our shot list

During class, Ifrah and I were able to pay extra attention to the shot list and this gave us the opportunity to tweak our narrative idea to make the overall narrative more concise so that our trailer has less scenes and look more like a teaser with sharp shots.

As you can see in the image, we put each shot that we were going to include in our trailer, on to individual post-it notes so that we can easily re-arrange the order.

This was helpful because it meant that we could prevent the trailer from looking like proper scenes and we could make sure the way the trailer panned out fitted the conventions of a trailer.

Therefore, after improving our narrative idea, we were able to put each shot into the our preferred sequence and makes it easier for us to create a better shot list.
