As you can see in the images, this classroom has a television that could be used in the background of news story however, after looking at BBC News, I found that the reporter is usually in line with the television and in this location, the TV is much higher so in order to use it, we would need to get a much higher chair.
Also, we went to another classroom where the TV was larger and lower on the wall which appeared to be more suitable for our scene. Therefore, an advantage of this location is that, granted we remove all the items around this particular area, we can film it in a way that it would look good.
Finally, another location we looked at was our classroom which has a large interactive whiteboard. A problem with this is that it will look too much like a classroom and wouldn't be suitable to film a news story with. Although, we tried to see if we stood up against it, that it could work this way, but we found that the brightness from the board could cause glaring on the camera.
