There were tools for specific problems, FOSS allows us to integrate them in a single plugin: LADM_COL Assistant.
Conclusions
FOSS multiplatform and high-level nature, as well as the rich ecosystem of libraries and bindings available, are very powerful for building complete solutions for the end user.
