ABOUT LINUXCHIX
LinuxChix is a community for women who like Linux and for anyone who wants to support women in computing.
An international group of Free Software users and developers with the aim of supporting women in Linux.
Founded in 1999 by Deb Richardson with two core rules :
- Be polite
- Be helpful
IS LINUXCHIX ONLY FOR WOMEN?
No, it is intended to be an inclusive group where everyone is and feels welcome.
But, yeah it is primarily intended as a women’s group to support women in Linux community.
