Introduction
- Our shipping option system allows you massive scope to ensure you can offer multiple delivery types over multiple countries and continents
- It is important throughout this process that you setup transparent shipping options to cover all possible options you provide, to ensure the greatest chance of customer satisfaction
- This slideshow aims to provide you basic insight into setting up your shipping options so you have all the tools and information to provide a great delivery service to your customers
Shipping Name
- Your shipping option name should show the type of delivery you are offering and include any deals it provides
- It should include any excluded countries in the title to ensure the customer isn't misguided during their purchase
- It should be clear which country/continent the shipping option is created for
Shipping Description
- Your shipping option description should cover off more detailed information like the courier used, standard dispatch time and standard delivery time
- We suggest that you include a rate table in the decription to ensure full price transparency for customers
- It should include an email address for customers to contact incase of any shipping queries
Shipping Description Example
Shipping Rates
- We suggest that you pick your shipping rate to best reflect how you ship your items on your own site
- It's important to note that if you pick Box Weight or Box Dimensions as your rate, you will be required to put the weight or size of each product, during product creation
- Order total and order quantity are good options to run shipping promotions. For example you could offer customers free delivery on orders over £40

- In the example below you can see an example of free shipping over £40 - ensure you set the order total ceiling to a large number like £9,999,999
Shipping Zones
- First, you have to pick whether the option is for the UK or for Outside the UK (Jersey, Guernsey and Channel Islands can all be found in the UK list)
- You will need to click, add/edit rate zones and tick off any counties/countries or continents that aren't included in this delivery option
- Make sure you save the edited zone name, e.g. Europe excl Greece or UK excl Highlands & Islands

Best Practice
- It's a good idea to include the general shipping location and any exclusions (e.g. UK excl Channel Islands) in the option name to help guide potential buyers
- You should try and include a contact email address in the description for buyers to use in case of any shipping issues
- On Order Total and Order Quantity rates you should make sure your cost ceiling is a large number that a customer will never spend, e.g. £999,999,999.00
