2.Conflicts Types :

  1. Task Conflict : Deals with disagreement about a part of the subject.
  2. Interpersonal Conflict : when individuals disagree with another individual for reasons unrelated to the issue being discussed.
  3. Procedural Conflict :This conflict results when there is a disagreement over the procedures followed to accomplish a goal of the community.

3.Conflict resolution:

  • Recognize and acknowledge existence of conflicts.
  • Analyze the existing situation.
  • Encourage communication :

  • Interviewing and Active Listening Skills: ask and question carefully to determine the nature of the conflict .
  • Empathy : asking employees in a conflict to describe how the other might be feeling and thinking .
  • Facilitation :using brainstorming session with teams to generate solutions for the  points of conflict.
  • Creative Problem Solving : finding new win/win solutions .
