I´m originally from Colombia
This is how tutorials make you see the CMD
This is how I saw the CMD
No matter...
...the effin' angle.
Damn thing looked SCARY!
This is how I try to see the CMD today
Like family.
Being a PC gamer for so many years...
...and LAN partying like a mofo...
...has helped me deal with the CMD a little.
I learned a few things
about the CMD by watching friends
install video games.
:]
Basic MS-DOS commands
I know:
dir - mkdir - del - cd.. - ping - ipconfig
ipconfig /release - ipconfig /renew
Truth be told:
I am no CMD expert.
AT ALL!
But...
The CMD is part
of being a Web Designer.
I admit my sin:
I honestly don't want to deal
with the CMD
more than I need to.
I'm a Web Designer and I want to keep it that way.
Pick your battles.
My Battle:
ROUND 1!
As I was trying to install Sass:
CMD: 1 - Ricardo:
0
ROUND 2
I decide to try again...
CMD: 2 - Ricardo:
0
ROUND 3
"I must break you."
-
Download Ruby installer and install it like any other application
-
Open the CMD and type:
gem install sass
-
Then type:
sass --watch scss:css --style compact
-
FireSass:
sass --watch scss:css --style compact --debug-info
CMD: 2 - Ricardo:
1!!!
I beat the CMD!
LEVEL UP!
+1
Today:
No more CMD for
Sass, Compass or FireSass...
