Artificial Narrow Intelligence

Siri/Alexa: These digital voice assistants are capable of performing many tasks such as playing music, checking the weather, etc. However, they are still weak AI as they can only perform a set of tasks for which they have been trained for.

 Self-driving cars:

 AI software in the car is connected to all the sensors and collects input from Google street view and video cameras inside the car. However, these cars are still far from reaching highly automated driving.

Google Maps: uses AI to predict whether the traffic along your route is heavy or light, an estimated travel time, and an estimated time of arrival (ETA). However, it is still nowhere close to human intelligence and hence it is a weak AI.

Face verification in iPhone: Matches the biometric data of a person with known images in a secure database and gives a yes/no decision. It had no intelligence of its own.

- AI can accurately predict as well as diagnose the disease at a faster rate than many medical professionals.

- PathAI is an evolving technology that uses artificial intelligence for more accurate diagnosis.

-Aims at reducing errors in cancer diagnosis and improving the efficiency of individualized medical treatment.

AI powered chatbots in healthcare:

- help physicians in giving proper diagnoses by asking patients a series of questions where the patient will select their answers from several choices.

- allow patients to ask various questions related to appointments and bill payments

-An app Ada uses AI to determine a patient's symptoms by asking questions like "Where does it hurt?". Ada keeps on learning more about the patient with every interaction.

 - Robot-assisted surgery allows the doctors to perform some complex surgeries.

A surgical robot, **Da Vinci** allows surgeons to perform complex surgeries using instruments with better control.
