Queston 3.

As part of our task, we had to create our own idents for our production and distribution company.

As we were going for a low budget, independent film company that not only worked in production but also took part in distributing their own films or were closely linked to another company, a bit like 'Film4', we didn't want to do something to dramatic and we wanted something that fitted our sub-genre of horror.

What did we come up with?

We came up with 'XXIV CINEMA' as our distribution company, that we visioned to have previously done horror films with our production company 'NYSIT Films.' 

Our idents were created using a technology called motion.

Like most movies, our production and distribution company was featured at the very beginning, before our film actually began.

We made our ident from scratch as we believed none of the templates fitted well with our film opening as a whole.

Production & Distribution.

Our distribution company, along with our production company, is low budget and independent.

This means we didn't want to create something high quality.

This linked to our film as we were not using high quality equipment or private locations.

We focused on our distributions company so that it fitted well with our film and highlighted our low budget
idenpendent feel.

Most low budget independent films are made for the love of movie making rather than the money. As we are AS media students, we went with this idea.
