Resident Evil Village

Resident Evil Village is the eighth installment of the popular horror franchise. The developers decided to hide Roman VIII in the sub-title Village, keeping the continuity in the title, but pointing to the artistic development of the series.

The new part of the series will feature unusual locations for the franchise. Part of the game will take place in open spaces: forests and mountains. Also the adventures in an ancient castle, the owner of which, a certain Count, may be the game's villain, are expected.

Village is developed exclusively for the new generation of consoles on the improved Capcom RE Engine, which also runs Devil May Cry V, remakes of Resident Evil 2 and 3, and Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
