Screen O' Matic is a free software which you can download to capture footage from both the screen and the camera if you wanted to. And this can help with our evaluation tasks with explaining different subjects about the music video in a short time instead of writing. It has many uses with what it can do. You can also show examples while talking about it.
This benefited us because it shows how we can use different types of media technology with different examples shown. It also helped us wth our evaluation due to us allowing to talk about it directly instead of writing out answers,
What skills do you need?
Some skill is needed to record and manage the software. you will also need to know how to download and install the software onto the computer and how to run the software. After recording, They will need to know how to upload the video onto YouTube to get an embedding code for the blog.
Strengths and Weaknesses?
A good thing about Screen o' Matic is that it is easy to use once installed. It also allows us to give a lot of Analysis, Evidence and Explanation and allows us to get the message across in a short amount of time. However, It can be challenging to use when you are not skilled in what to do with the footage.
