PillCast

Helping group homes track pill taking

The current way patients adhere to meds is with a plain pillbox paired with a standalone alarm that cues them on a schedule

For TBI patients, any distraction between the alarm going off and medication retrieval translates to missed meds

Group homes that care for these TBI patients constantly evaluate them for greater independence, but it can be a tedious manual process.

PillCast was developed by an Occupational Therapist certified brain injury specialist to decrease patient confusion and increase the likelihood of self-compliance

Pillcast is a Bluetooth enabled button that attaches to ANY pillbox or prepackaged med delivery system.  It works with a mobile app to record results to cloud servers.

Pillcast then provides notifications and analytics of medication compliance to caregivers and family members.

The PillCast dashboard also provides facility staff with a central online location for aggregate data for all their patients
