"Do's and Don't's"

"Do's"

• Follow the 'rule of thirds' composition
• Use good quality photos, which are an appropriate proportion to the text
• Only use two clear fonts that complement each other
• Stick to the maximum of three colours to show a consistent colour scheme. Chose colours that are relevant to your genre
• Ensure the links on the website work. On each page of the website use appropriate images to suit the text  

"Don't's"

• Don't stretch images. To enlarge photos in Photoshop, hold 'shift' whilst enlarging
• Don't use random effects; there has to be a relationship between the effect and the meaning
• Don't place the text on the artist's face
• Don't use multiple images on each panel
