"Do's and Don't's"
Design Production Work
- Follow the 'rule of thirds' composition
- Use good quality photos, which are an appropriate proportion to the text
- Only use two clear fonts that complement each other
- Stick to the maximum of three colours to show a consistent colour scheme. Chose colours that are relevant to your genre
- Ensure the links on the website work. On each page of the website use appropriate images to suit the text
- Don't stretch images. To enlarge photos in Photoshop, hold 'shift' whilst enlarging
- Don't use random effects; there has to be a relationship between the effect and the meaning
- Don't place the text on the artist's face
- Don't use multiple images on each panel
