Role definition:
The people manager is the person that guides and stand by another employee from the first to his/her last day in the company (retirement age: 65+)
Guiding and standby refers to:
helping in career choices
setting expectations for next periods
expecting and demanding results based on expectations
making an “emotional” connection with the ones in your group
check and recheck constantly on personal / technical evolution progress
understanding personal / job related problems and act on it !
