Ted Blenkers - Cruise ship

Ted Blenker Ship Captain - I seek employment on a ship or a vessel where I can prove myself as one of the
best ship captains and utilize my great experience and skills in the maritime

We all get our attention when we see the captain on our cruise trip, in his white uniform and gold gals. We feel a sense of admiration and many of us have asked ourselves, How do you become a Cruise Captain? We can already anticipate that it is not easy, and it requires great dedication and patience since it requires several degrees and many hours of navigation and experience on board different boats. The process may vary depending on the country where you begin studies or practices, but we can say that the steps are quite defined

GET THE CAPTAIN MARINE LICENSE
Take the exams and obtain a sea captain's license with the Coast Guard, or similar agency that processes licenses from another country. Only after 10 or more years of proven experience, can you be qualified to take this exam.

WORK FOR A CRUISE SHIP
Apply for a ship captain position on cruise ships. It is better to start with shipping companies of the same nationality. Most cruise ships hire people from their home country. For example, most Norwegian Cruise Lines officer positions are given to Norwegian citizens.

Ted Blenkers - I am a ship captain and I know that I am in command of the vessel wherever it
goes; in lakes, oceans, coastal waters, rivers, or bays. I make sure of the safety
and efficiency of all the operations on the vessel. My wide experience allows me
to navigate according to the weather conditions, radar, depth finders, radios,
buoys, lights, and even lighthouses without exposing the ship or the crew to any
kind of risk.
