Production And distribution companies

For our teen film, we have created our own production and distribution companies to produce the film.

Our production company is called Silver Screen Productions and our distribution company is called Motion For Film.

We looked at small, independent distribution companies that distributed movies that were aimed at British, urban audiences like our target audience as films like 'Fish Tank' and 'Kidulthood' allow the audience to relate to the characters on screen as the films are set in urban areas of the city which we found was similar to our teen film and why we thought these examples were best suited.

Examples of distribution companies include IFC Films, which distributed 'Fish Tank', and Revolver Entertainment, which distributed 'Kidulthood'.

Although our distributing/advertising budget is quite low we do have ways to distribute our teen film.

Our first screening will be at Screen on the Green on Tuesday 25th March with around 140 people in attendance.

There will also be a DVD release of 200 discs so people can own our teen film.
