- Create google account
- Account Name : Name of website you want to track
- URL: http://www.<your site>.github.io
- Copy Tracking ID: UA-13313????-1 OR copy html code <script type = “xxxjavascript”></script>
- Paste Tracking ID to _config.yml at google_analytics: OR put analytics code into bottom of each page, ideally footer.
- Save. it will tell you success!
- May take several hours to update
- Open your web site, verify the tracking code
