Organizing Journey to Location

 & Weather Check

Getting me and my artist to the location was something that I had to plan accurately since the locations aren’t closely. From using Google maps I was able to find a variety of ways in which we can arrive there and so I then screenshot the journey options and send them through the group chat I had created for us to communicate easier.

We were then able to decide on which journey would be convenient for the both of us and make the decision quicker.

In order to make sure that everything runs smoothly I decided to use Google as well as an iPhone app on my phone to check the weather conditions for the day of my filming. Being the main scenes which I will be filming the lighting will be important since I will shoot everything outside.

Whilst planning the journey I wanted to choose one which would have open space, this is because of my music video’s storyline of recording my artist around her ‘neighbourhood’ as a normal day of hers. I also wanted enough room so that i could get the chance of using different angles and movements whilst she walks. And so since I’ll mainly be filming in areas with a lot of people, this suggestion also counted as a safety reason.
