But designing or building something - isn't always the right solution to the problem.
We want to find the ultimate solution
Advocate for the user at all times
Rather than sell to our users, instead we want to engage them by creating something that they want
In UX we generally don’t view our users as customers, because we’re not focused on selling them something
Design solutions often come with visuals, but it's not the starting point
Iteration is a huge part of design
AKA
We care about:
We act as a intermediary between design and engineering - because we understand the concerns and goals of both
Simplicity over complexity, readability, and building for the long term
There are many more designers and engineers than there are FEDs
When you starting thinking about an idea, talk to us. We want to help you with a solution!
Is it really a problem, or an assumption?
Keep asking why? Kind of like a 5 year old.
As UX we need to be invested in a project for us to make it amazing. We also need to advocate the reasoning behind a project or task to our peers.
