Scene: establishing Soloist as they play out over the island fields, foraging from the soil and forest. Establishes the rules for the phone, a small story the Soloist pens, and their discomfort toward the ruins at the foot of the hill where they play their violin... whose sound attracts two people, one meek but brutish and one mature but manic.
Scene: encountering and developing Kiseki, ending on the realization of how they forage with a strange hook. Kiseki immediately retreats after witnessing Soloist's cold reaction. One sees an act of violence, one sees an act of hypocrisy and elitism.
Scene: avoiding playing after the Soloist starts to only hear shrieks and outcries from the ruins, we encounter Kokoro. Their maturity puts Soloist at ease, bonding until taken to a big tree. It rots after a touch. Soloist dodges Kokoro who tosses a hook from behind, splitting the violin's bow. The Soloist tries to be less cold this time, making the hook a bow -- snapping the strings -- and serenading their mania until Kokoro falls asleep. The Soloist takes them home and collapses.
Scene: Soloist flees at sunrise having woken up to witness Kokoro on the "broke" phone inviting a "sister" ("sibling"?) over. Scared to ask, or be outnumbered, Soloist runs.
Calmed down by the nature at the cliffside, Kokoro and Kiseki catch up--the Soloist tosses their story skyward as they leap, only for Skybird to manifest and fly them away.
