aka "So, what do you eat?"
How we learned about it
- Tim Ferriss
The Four-Hour Body
basic principles
Avoid white carbs (and starches- I'm looking at you, potatoes! You too, yams!)
Eat the same few meals over and over again (you already do)
Don't drink calories
Don't eat fruit
Take one day off per week (AKA Junk Day!)
additional tips
30 in 30
30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up
water, water everywhere!
What's exercise got to do with it? (HIT the weights)
Go organic or at least free range and nitrite/nitrate free
ok, i get it-but what do you eat?
All vegetables (no corn is not a vegetable, stop lying to yourself).
Any proteins- burgers count- but battering and deep frying your protein does not.
Beans- be careful with salt content.
Go easy on the nut butters, nuts, and chickpeas.
Go crazy with kale chips!
An orange in the evening is ok by Tim, too (so is a glass of red wine).
Calorie free drinks like diet soda is ok- Tim limits to 16 oz. per day.
no fruit or dairy, really?
Una- indulges in both occasionally (Starbucks and Whole Foods cut up fruit).
Will is a better person than Una will ever be.
you still haven't answered what you actually eat!!
