Present Perfect
*To express things you have done in your life.
*To express number of times you have done something.
*To express situations that started in the past and are still true.
*To describe recently completed actions which are important now.
*There is always a connection with the past and with the present.
I have done all my homework.
Toby has eaten all the cookies.
We have eaten at that restaurant many times.
He has worked in the bank for five years.
*The auxiliary verb (have) is conjugated in the Present Simple: have, has.
*The main verb is invariable in past participle form: -ed (or irregular)
HAVE: I, You, We and They.
HAS: She, He and It.
*For negative sentences we insert not between the auxiliary verb and the main verb.
*For question sentences, we exchange the subject and the auxiliary verb.
Ex: She has not been in Rome.
Ex: Have your ever seen the Harry Potter movies?
