What is

Minimalism?

We're not talking about art movement.

We're talking about a better way of life.

How can we survive in the era of consumerism?

Where impulsive buying is the new-normal?

There's this new iPhone that I wanna buy next month.

I think my dress is a little bit old-fashioned for 2020,
I need a new dress

Do I need all of that?

Let me think twice about it

Minimalism is about having less

And fewer possessions means less stress, overwhelm, guilt, and more freedom.

There's nothing wrong with owning material possessions. But too many possessions will dilute our mind from making conscious decisions.

Watch how Fumio Sasaki share his experience:

Several techniques to become a Minimalist that I found on the internet:

  1. Owning less than 100 things
  2. Not owning a fancy dress or shoes
  3. Always declutter clothes and books
  4. Sleep in a futon

There's not one size fits all. You should try to create your own style of implementing minimalism.

Get started by simply ask yourself a question:

"If I have fewer possessions,
would I be less happy?"
