Architectural design is a discipline that arises from an imaginary mental representation or image, which can be concrete or abstract, as well as within its transition and materialization, it projects the construction of a physical structure with an architectural sense, generating ideas with great aesthetic appeal. It is literally related to the outlines, drawings, outlines, outlines and sketches.

Without a previous design, the construction of an architectural work loses the efficiency that must have in all the amplitude of its value with aesthetic, functional, spatial and structural sense that characterize it. Among the aspects that are taken into account in the architectural design are: creativity, organization, environment of the work, the functionality of its construction, its construction system, economic-financial and very important viability, the expression plastic-aesthetic.

At present, the architectural design focuses mainly on modern concerns such as: comfort, work and the environment.

Before starting to work on an architectural design, the following considerations are taken into account:

* Situation of the land on which the work will be built: its dimensions and topographic characteristics.

Its cardinal orientation and its relation to the functionality of the spaces on which the work in question will be designed.
Operation of the service networks: electricity, water, drainage, vehicular circulation, etc.

After the previous survey, other needs are subsequently evaluated to consider for the architectural design of the work: total construction of the surface, height of each floor, number of floors, relationships between each space, uses, circulation, expression, etc.
The budget available for the construction, element that is decisive to start the design.
