What is electricity?
What is electrical current?
What is an electrical circuit?
The flow of electrons through a conductor is called electrical current.
Charged particles that move through a substance creates electricity.
which means "to go around."
> Latin circuitus
What is a circuit?
A closed loop that allows electrons to flow from
a power source, through components, and back to the
power source.
This closed loop of electrons allows the
electrical current to continue to flow.
If the loop is open, no electrons can flow.

These pins are a physical interface between the RPi and the outside world.
Think of the pins as switches that you can turn
on or off (input),
or that the RPi can turn on or off (output).
