Use a Chart block to turn tabular data into a visual comparison. Charts work well for showing changes over time, comparing categories, or explaining how parts relate to a whole.
Add a chart
- Open your presentation in the editor.
- Select Chart from the insert toolbar.
- Move and resize the chart as you would any other content block.
New charts start as column charts with sample data. Select the chart to change its type, theme, legend, scales, font size, and colors from the block toolbar.

You can choose from column, bar, line, pie, doughnut, polar area, and radar charts. Changing the type keeps your existing data, so you can compare different ways to present it.
Edit chart data
Double-click a chart, press Enter while it is selected, or select Edit chart data from the block toolbar.
The first column contains the labels shown along the chart. Each additional column becomes a data series. Edit a cell directly, or use the plus buttons to add rows and columns. The preview updates as you work; select Save when you are finished.

To reuse data from another tool, open Import and either upload a CSV file or paste CSV data from your clipboard. Open Export to download the chart data as CSV, copy it as CSV, or copy it as JSON.
Choose the right chart
- Use a line chart to show a trend over time.
- Use a column or bar chart to compare values across categories.
- Use a pie or doughnut chart to show parts of a whole.
- Use a radar chart to compare several measurements across the same categories.
- Use a polar area chart when both the size and category of each value matter.
For charts with axes, you can show or hide the scales and choose whether values begin at zero. You can also show or hide the legend and move it to a different side of the chart.
