I'm a PhD students in polytechnic university of Valencia. My research interests are: vehicular ad hoc networks, MAC protocols, Wireless communications.
This belongs to the CCNC 2015 conference presentation in Las Vegas, January, 2015.
This presentation tries to give a general view of how to do a simulation with OMNeT++ with showing you different parts of working with OMNeT++. Also, it focuses on using Veins (MiXiM) Framework which provides some protocols for wireless and mobile communications. Also, it shows how to use Veins and SUMO together to do realistic urban simulations. I really appreciate if you have any feedback to improve this presentation and it would help us to improve it for future presentations. Moreover, if you need more information you can even look the chapter which was written by me at "Simulation Technologies in Networking and Communications: Selecting the Best Tool for the Test" book.
