Alan Zucconi
My name is Alan Zucconi and I am currently a PhD student in Computing at Imperial College London. Computer Science, especially in terms of programming and software design is a great passion that has also become my work. I am also interested in Biology, a fascinating area that could be strongly connected with Computer Science. I embrace both of these aspects working at the ”Brain and Behaviour lab”, at the Department of Bioengineering. In the last few years I have spent time designing and developing potentially innovative applications. My attention has been focused on Web services and their huge potential. More recently, I started working as an independent game developer. In the future, I would like to continue conducting research to unravel the strategies and algorithms encoded in animals’ brains that give rise to their behaviours. I am also interested in exploring creative approaches to designing experimental gameplays.
