This series is taken at a roller skating rink Skate Time 209 in update New York during EAW XXVII. This is my first time being on an assignment and I had never been to a roller skating rink, so it was an unknown journey. I thought I would see the rink full of kids and people skating and running around on a Saturday afternoon. I was a bit nervous about capturing actions and motions. De-Selfing

This photography project is about visualizing my personal feelings about romantic relationships. After having a breakup of a seven-year long relationship, I deeply believed that if I didn’t transform myself into a more likable woman, there wouldn't be any happiness in my life anymore. So I started de-selfing myself for men. To convey my abstract thoughts and internal feelings, I incorporated objects and a man into self-portraits to create symbolic images.
